Party Idea...Wing It!

I love this idea from Martha Stewart. I already have plans on using it for the next baby shower I throw!

Let a flock of colorful paper butterflies loose, and you'll instantly give party decorations a lift. Trace the
template onto a folded piece of paper, cut out the shape, and unfold the wings. (For different sizes, photocopy the template, reducing or enlarging the image.) Attach some to paper lanterns with tape or glue dots (sold by the roll at crafts stores), then fold the wings upward for true-to-life flutter form. For topflight cocktails, make 2 slits in the center of a butterfly cutout, and then slide a straw through.

Thank you Mom!

Thank you Mom for wanting to give me everything,
even when it wasn't possible.

Thank you Mom for always looking out for me,
even when I didn't want you to.

Thank you Mom for bringing me 7-up, chicken soup
and the red bucket when I wasn't feeling well.

Thank you Mom for always having a ready ear
when I need someone to talk to.

Thank you Mom for always believing in me
that all my dreams could come true.

Thank you Mom for being patient with me
when I had lessons I needed to learn.

Thank you Mom for teaching me that
a mother's love in unconditional.

Thank you Mom for teaching me that
with God all things are possible.

Thank you Mom for praying for me
and knowing that God was hearing your prayers.

Thank you Mom for showing me how to be
a good Mom myself.

Thank you Mom for showing me how
strong a mother's love really is.

I love you,

Happy Mother's Day!

Baby Steals

BabySteals.com

About Baby Steals

At BabySteals.com they sell one quality baby or maternity product every day at 50-80% off until it sells out. It's not just a deal, it's a steal! A 'BabySteal'!

No, they're not stealing and reselling babies. They drop one amazing steal a day at 9am MST until it's gone, and they sell out fast. Once they're sold out, you lost out. On the weekends they give you a second chance on steals they still have, and you might get lucky and find more than one Steal a Day!

This is the place where mommies of all kinds get hooked up with the latest 'babysteal' at an unbelievable price. Their 'steals' are designed to save you serious money on products you would normally spend more money on, or things you just wouldn't normally 'splurge' on because of the cost. The prices are so good you'll want to get one for you, your sister, and your best friend. That is, unless they're hooked on BabySteals.com too. You may want to give them a call because they're probably already getting one for you!

Since they have 8 babies and kids between them at BabySteals.com, they know how hard it is to keep up with everything your baby needs. Blankets, clothes, bottles, toys, diapers… the list goes on and on (not to mention the maternity necessities for yourself before the baby even gets here). So they created a simple (and fun) way for moms to get great deals on the things they need (uh, want) most.

So the bottom line is, visit early every day or sign up for their Daily Steal Email Alert, because at 50-80% off retail, the daily steal sells out fast.

No Sugar Added

http://www.nosugaraddedshop.com

So this weekend was the grand opening of my friend Summer's business. She has had a successful on-line business for two years and decided that now would be a great time to open a store. She and her husband found the perfect location in the Claremont Village. I tell you, the location is perfect! It is two stores down from Starbucks and just north of Heroes Restaurant and Some Crust Bakery. Perfect right?! I have helped my friend in the past with some of the open houses she did for her on-line customers and also had the opportunity to go on a buying trip to Las Vegas with her and our sons last year. Now she is giving me the opportunity to work in her store and the best part, I can take Mattias with me! I'm sure I will sometimes leave Mattias with Michael or Gramy when they are available or need a little Mattias time. But when they are not available how great is it to be able to take my son to work with me?:) I don't plan to start working full-time anytime soon, but being able to earn a little bit of extra money while spending time with friends and my son is such a huge blessing! You should come by and visit the store when you can. It is a great store for babies, toddlers, and anyone who knows anyone that has (or is having) a baby or toddler... I sold so many items for shower gifts:) Next baby I know where I will be doing my shopping! All products are healthy for baby and the earth.
